Fall

Fall is finally here and the dog days of summer are over. We had 67 days above 90 this summer! Another weather record broken in 2010. Let's hope to not break any more records this winter, unless it's a warm wave so we can get some more golf in this year.

We haven't really been doing much but hanging out with friends, family, and the kittens. The kittens are as busy and lazy as ever. Napping, sunbathing, scaring Fluffy, killing stinkbugs, meowing, sniping, and cleaning. You know, the typical day of a kitten.

October 15th marked our 2 year anniversary of being in our house. We are still enjoying the house and the neighborhood but haven't been doing many projects recently. Therefore our winter project list just keeps getting longer.

I haven't had much to say or post recently.   As I sit here with No Show in my lap watching me very intently while I type, I came across this video and thought it was cute (of course). The kitty in the video sort of looks like No Show too.

Caboodle Ranch- A Home for Homeless Kitties

Craig Grant started Caboodle Ranch in 2003 and now has 660 cats on his 30 acre farm!   The cats can nap in the sun by a lake, go for walks on the hiking trails, sleep in one of the many houses, or just hang out.  Sounds like a resort!  He goes through 100lbs of dry food and 5 cases of extra large wet food to feed the kitties daily.  And yes, all the cats are fixed before they are let loose on the Ranch.   It's a non-profit rescue to give cats a home. I Give In...

I was talking with someone this weekend about how it only makes sense that famous actors, athletes, and politicians should have a twitter account.  No one cares what the average Joe or average Sara is doing...soooo I signed up for Twitter.

I'm not famous.  I'm not a professional athlete.  I'm definitely not a politician.

I felt the need to waste more of my time on mindless internet social networking sites. Therefore, I AM now a tweeter.  @sarawolf3

Congrats to the Leonards!

This past weekend Will and Lauren got married at the Virginia Oaks clubhouse in Gainesville (our community). It was a beautiful sunny day of 85 degrees, which is unheard of in August in Virginia so they got very lucky. The day of our wedding I'm pretty sure it reached 110. Poor guys in those suits. Anyway, Lauren was a gorgeous bride and Will was a handsome groom!

We had a great time visiting with friends, their family, and of course the gorgeous bride and groom. We danced, fell, laughed, and cried. And I fell, no one else did...that I know of. Why? Because someone was dancing on the dance floor with a full drink and since I have awesome luck...whoop...on my butt.

Kurstin, who was ours and Abby/Paul's photographer also, was the photographer for their wedding. He's an awesome photographer (voted 15th in the world) and I can't wait to see the pictures. We wish Will and Lauren all the best and all our love!
